Aura Hertzog has been working in small business for two decades in Kitchener. She started multiple bakeries that have thrived in the region, and her latest bakery Aura-la Pastries + Provisions has become a destination spot for people visiting Kitchener from out of the region. Aura balances being a small business entrepreneur with being a mom to four children, and her other job as Manager of Downtown Innovation and Development for the City of Kitchener. She is bright, innovative, creative, community-building, and inspiring!

Mary Beth Kennedy
Mary Beth Kennedy is a dynamic entrepreneur, educator, and community advocate. As the owner of multiple successful
businesses, she is passionate about innovation and mentorship. She teaches entrepreneurship at Conestoga College,
guiding the next generation of business leaders. Beyond the classroom, she actively supports community initiatives,
mentoring students and job seekers while contributing to fundraisers for local charities. Her dedication to business
excellence, education, and charitable giving has made a lasting impact in the region. Whether empowering aspiring
entrepreneurs or giving back to the community, Mary Beth’s leadership continues to inspire and drive positive change

Kristy Miller, founder of The Scented Market, has built a thriving home fragrance brand by blending creativity, strategy, and determination. With hands-on experience, she's navigated the challenges of entrepreneurship—launching products, scaling operations, and staying true to her brand’s values. She's passionate about turning ideas into reality and watching businesses grow. Through innovation, resilience, and a strong commitment to quality, she strives to create products that resonate with her customers. Her journey has taught her the power of persistence and adaptability in building a successful brand. She's dedicated to making an impact and inspiring others to dream big.

Sandy Mlotschek
Sandy, a first-generation immigrant, is a married and working mother of two adult children, one with high- functioning autism. She preserves her Eastern European heritage by incorporating ancestral traditions into her life. Through these roots, she developed a holistic metaphysical practice, using ancient folk rituals to craft services & products that help women boost self-esteem, reconnect with their heritage, and embrace their unique power. Sandy offers guidance through Turkish coffee readings, Favomancy, (bean casting), Tarot and Master Level Reiki Energy, sharing wisdom and insight to help people connect with their personal & universal energy. Also a licensed ordained minister with CIMM (Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry).

Linda Ockwell-Jenner
Linda Ockwell-Jenner is a three-time cancer survivor who has launched and managed two successful businesses. As a
professional speaker with Motivational Steps, a company she founded, Linda shares her passion for life and success with international audiences. She is also an accomplished author, having released three books: A Life Like Mine, The APE Philosophy and Networking in a Nutshell. She created and co-hosted The Small Business Show on Rogers TV. Together with her husband Dave, she co-founded The Small Business Community Network, which fosters growth among tri-city entrepreneurs. Linda is affectionately known as "The Social Sweetheart."

Ainsley Poirier-Craig
Ainsley is a devoted entrepreneur, mother, wife, daughter, and friend whose passion shines through everything she
creates. Her journey began with Fresh Look Design, and as her inspiration grew, so did her business. Named after her
daughters, Harp & Fin became a floral and lifestyle boutique reflecting her love for beauty, design, and meaningful connection. Eventually, she transitioned fully into the floral and event design world, dissolving Fresh Look Design to launch HF Events. This shift allowed her to expand her creativity and fully embrace her passion for floral design and creating memorable experiences. Ainsley’s work is a true reflection of her heart—filled with intention, creativity, and joy.
