The Bloom Team
The Bloom Team consists of four women, Andrea Mondoux, Christine Dainard, Kim Basler, and Mariangelica Forero. Individually each of the women of the BLOOM Team are experts, leaders and educators, and as a group they are bringing the community together to strengthen, connect, grow individually and as a society. LMcIntosh Hockey
LMcIntosh Hockey is dedicated to developing female hockey in the Waterloo Region and surrounding areas. With an allfemale
staff, the organization focuses on creating a positive and supportive environment for players to grow both on and
off the ice. Over the past decade, female hockey has seen incredible growth, and LMcIntosh Hockey remains committed to raising the standard even higher through expert coaching, mentorship, and community engagement.

Muslim Social Services Waterloo Region
MSSWR offers spiritually and culturally sensitive counselling services with counsellors who speak English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Pashto, Gujarati, Punjabi, and more. They partner with and accept referrals from other counselling agencies in the region, particularly when clients have special language needs or require a culturally sensitive lens. Culturally informed mental health awareness training and workshops for other organizations. Settlement services for newcomers, immigrants, and refugees (services such as helping fill out and file legal paperwork, open bank accounts, connect with culturally informed legal advisors, and connect with employment services. Programming for mental health, leadership and empowerment, social support and community building.

She Is Your Neighbour
She Is Your Neighbour was created in 2019 as a blog series and social media project highlighting the realities and
complexities of domestic violence. After a very successful launch, the project evolved into a podcast to authentically share stories of gender-based violence in the voices of people who have experienced it. Over the past five years, the project has expanded to include seven seasons of the podcast, a merch line, community conversations and a short documentary. Produced by Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region, the She Is Your Neighbour team creates safe spaces for survivors to feel comfortable sharing their experiences.

She Shares Women's Giving Circle
She Shares Women’s Giving Circle is a dynamic group of women dedicated to improving healthcare in their community through collective volunteering and philanthropy. Founded in 2017, members contribute annually to St. Mary’s General Hospital, with funds allocated based on collective decision-making. Beyond financial contributions, She Shares strengthens the community by supporting hospital committees, volunteering, and partnering with local businesses. Their collaborative efforts promote a healthier future and honour the legacy of women in healthcare. Using their time, talents, and treasures, She Shares exemplifies the power of women working together to make a lasting impact in the Region.

Shelter Movers Southwestern Ontario
Courtney, Ashley, Michelle, Brittany, and Danielle comprise the leadership team of Shelter Movers Southwestern Ontario and are dedicated to making the community a safer place. With diverse backgrounds and experiences, they have come together to complete over 775 moves in Southwestern Ontario since December 2020, helping survivors of intimate partner and gender-based violence relocate to safety. Leading a team of over 130 volunteers, they coordinate logistics, provide support, and ensure each move is carried out with care. Their commitment to safety, empowerment, and community collaboration drives their mission to create a future free of violence, one move at a time.

Women in Communications & Technology Mentoring Circles Program
When the Women in Communications and Technology (WCT) volunteer team met to discuss how to scalably fill a
mentorship gap for women in Waterloo Region, the Mentoring Circles program was born. This nine-month program provides like-minded professionals in any industry the opportunity to form strategic partnerships in a supported group to
achieve their personal and professional goals. Since the inception of Mentoring Circles in 2019, nearly 500 participants of all career stages have received mentorship through the program in Waterloo Region, and the program was scaled Nationally by WCT March 2024 to foster Mentoring relationships across Canada.

YW Club 84
Club 84 is a giving circle of citizens established in 1980 by supporting a women's 66-bed residence exclusively operated
by YWKW. Their mission has since expanded along with the YW to include women with children and families in need. For
45 years, the unwavering support of over 300 donors has empowered us to provide vital housing including thousands of bed nights and meals. They take pride in financial prudence, which has led to an endowment fund exceeding 2 million dollars, with accrued interest contributing to YW operating expenses. Club 84 members are a passionate group of individuals dedicated to supporting the YW by uplifting others in our community. Their mission embodies the transformative power of help, hope, and love.
